Mantl Studio is a small, independent art practice led by me, Franky Peck, focused on creating map-based artworks from satellite imagery and geographic data.
At the heart of the studio is a fascination with landscape — not just how places look, but how they’re shaped, remembered, and recorded. Using layers like elevation models, contours, and satellite imagery. I create art that sits between science and story, clarity and abstraction.
While most of my focus right now is on creating collections, I also welcome conversations about:
Custom artworks (of a place that means something to you)
Map-based wallpaper and large-scale designs
Creative partnerships with environmental or land-based organisations
From curated collections to commissioned works, my aim is to create pieces that resonate — personally, scientifically, and artistically.
If you’re curious about the process or want to talk about a custom idea for a space or project - big or small, I’d love to hear from you.
